Employee Highlight - Andrea

Andrea is a full time therapist at Pax Massage that specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones and Exfoliation Treatments. When Andrea invites you into her “tree” (what we loving call her massage table as Andrea is quite tall) you can really sense the passion and energy she puts into her work. Andrea is the type of person that loves people and really wants to help make them feel better.  She puts a lot of time into perfecting her massage and into learning new techniques. She recently invested her time into taking deep tissue coursework to understand how to translate her already firm pressure into a deep technique. As I was lying in her tree last week after she gave me a full body Deep Tissue to show off her new skills, I was impressed – and proud! - to realize she had just given one of the best massages I have ever had…..and I’ve had quite a few massages. Andrea’s passion to help others doesn’t just end with people: she is an avid dog lover and even practices Reiki on animals, and she is also very conscientious of the environment and the way we treat it (she personally brought in recycling bins to Pax Massage and makes sure everyone puts their plastic into it).
