Employee Highlight - Patty

Patty is a part time therapist at Pax Massage that specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sport Massages. Patty’s journey to become a massage therapist is very touching. As a young girl she used to take care of her mother by massaging her legs at night. She realized how impactful the power of touch was, and this experience stayed with her through the years. Patty is now the mother of four children, and once the youngest was in school she decided to pursue her desire to help other people through massage.

Patty graduated from The Muscular Therapy Institute/Cortiva in Watertown, MA with over 750 hours of classroom training. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massages and Injury Work.

Patty is one of those people who was destined to be a massage therapist. She treats all of her clients with a special caring touch, and it reaches a wide variety of people. We have seen the beaten up athlete coming to our doors requesting to see Patty for relief, knowing that she will provide just what he needs in the massage. We have seen people going through high stress situations that just need a tender touch come out of Patty’s sessions thankful she was able to give them what they were seeking.

The massage therapy industry is very much one that is inhabited by people who want to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and the really good therapists put their energy into tailoring sessions to give clients what it is they are seeking, both emotionally and physically.
